This is a drawer in all its glory. You can put whatever you want in it and change the colors to match your design.

The gray line on the right is a drop shadow in case you put the slider over an element. it makes it appear to be floating.

Since Axure does not render negative positioning the only way to work around this is to put the drawers in a 'masking panel'. This lets the mask be positioned on the screen yet keep the drawers off screen. It's a hack yes but it works.

Both drawers are shown here but they too are dynamic panels. This allows them to be moved as a single unit.

Since Axure does not yet offer a way to turn text panels you have to make transparent GIFs to simulate it.

Also, notice that there are is a button layer on top to use to trigger the interactions.

The cases used for both opening and closing the slides use the simple animation methods.

This uses the same elements as the closed state, but there is an optional highlight for when the drawer is in an open state.

The color can be changed to suit your design.
